How karma works

Karma is earned, not written.

Here you are not a résumé. You prove what you know by test, then people in your field interview you and vouch for it.

01

Online tests

Take proctored skill tests, showcase your score, and earn karma points.

02

Mock interviews

Book mock interviews with senior peers in your domain, scored on 20+ parameters.

03

Get ranked

Ranked by karma, not by college, connections, or followers.

Start here: three qualification tests

Division 1 is three short tests, 80% to pass. Nothing else opens until all three are done: not the rest of the tests, and not interview booking.

Then get vouched

Once you qualify you can book a senior person in your field for a live interview. They score you afterwards, and that score is worth far more than a test.

Booking an interview costs money, held until your interviewer confirms. If they never show, you get it back.

What the number means

Tests and vouches both feed karma, vouches much more heavily. It is the part of your profile you cannot write yourself: other people set it.

Karma runs from 0 to 1000. Beside it sits inclined-to-hire: the share of your interviewers who said they would actually hire you.

How recruiters find you

Recruiters describe a role, and candidates are matched on how well they fit it. Karma is deliberately not part of that first cut. Among everyone who fits, karma is what moves you up the list.

Recruiters also filter on years, city, salary and industry before fit is even considered, so a profile kept current matters.

Why the interviewer's score counts

Senior interviewers score every candidate they meet, and get paid for the hour. What they submit becomes that candidate's karma, the one part of their profile they cannot write themselves. Honest scores are the only reason the number means anything.
